Premium Rice

About Our Rice

India is the world's largest rice exporter, and Sapphox Ventures sources from APEDA-registered mills in the traditional growing belts — Basmati from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh; non-Basmati from Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. All rice is modern-milled, polished, sortex-cleaned, and comprehensively quality-tested before shipment.

We supply three varieties suited to the rice requirements of importers, distributors, food service operators, and retail brands across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Key Features

  • APEDA-Registered Mills: All rice sourced from mills registered under India's Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority.
  • Sortex Cleaned: Optical colour sorting removes discoloured, damaged, and foreign material for maximum visual uniformity.
  • Modern Milling & Polishing: State-of-the-art processing ensures consistent grain quality, minimal broken percentage, and superior finish.
  • Comprehensive Quality Testing: Moisture, broken percentage, admixture, discolouration, and pesticide residues tested per lot before export.
  • Basmati & Non-Basmati Range: Three distinct varieties covering premium, mid-segment, and value markets.
  • Full Export Documentation: Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Analysis, and pesticide residue report provided with every shipment.

Basmati 1121

Basmati 1509 Rice

Basmati 1509

A slightly shorter premium basmati with a mild aroma and fast cooking time. Very popular in Middle Eastern and European markets where quick preparation and consistent grain quality are priorities.

  • Grain Length: 8.2–8.3 mm
  • Broken: 2% Max
  • Discoloured: 1% Max

IR64 Parboiled Rice

IR64 Parboiled (Non-Basmati)

Parboiled long-grain non-basmati rice. The parboiling process drives nutrients into the grain before milling, resulting in a more nutritious, firmer-textured rice with a longer shelf life compared to raw white rice. Widely used in food service, institutional supply, and affordable retail channels across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

  • Grain Length: 5.8–6.0 mm
  • Broken: 5% Max (standard)
  • Damage & Discoloured: 2% Max
  • Purity: 92% Min
  • Sortex Clean: Guaranteed
  • Moisture: Less than 14%
  • Country of Origin: India
Note: Different broken percentages ranging from 1% to 25% can be supplied based on buyer specification. Specifications adjust accordingly with broken percentage.
