About Kraft Paper

Kraft paper is produced using the sulphate (Kraft) pulping process — a chemical method that preserves the long cellulose fibres of the wood pulp, resulting in a paper significantly stronger and more tear-resistant than papers produced by standard mechanical pulping. The word "Kraft" itself comes from the German for strength — and it lives up to that name.

Sapphox Ventures exports high-grade Kraft paper in rolls and sheets, sourced from established Indian mills. Available in natural unbleached brown (the characteristic Kraft colour, indicating minimal chemical processing) and bleached white for premium or food-contact applications.

Its excellent tensile strength, tear resistance, and versatility make it indispensable across dozens of industries — from cement sacks that hold 50 kg loads to delicate food wraps and luxury retail bags.

Natural Brown Kraft (Unbleached)

The classic unbleached Kraft paper — retains maximum fibre strength from minimal chemical processing. The natural brown colour is a hallmark of sustainability.

MG (Machine-Glazed) Kraft

One-side glazed Kraft paper with a glossy smooth finish on one face and a rough, absorbent texture on the other. Widely used for food wrapping, interleaving, and lamination.
