Sapphox Ventures exports a comprehensive range of premium IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) potato products through an exclusive export partnership with a leading frozen food manufacturer based in Gujarat, India — operating with state-of-the-art production infrastructure and certified to the highest international food safety standards.
The manufacturing facility processes only the finest grade potatoes, sourced from verified agricultural suppliers, through a fully controlled production line from washing and peeling right through to freezing, packaging, and cold-chain dispatch. Every product is metal-detected, weight-checked, and frozen at -40°C blast temperature to lock in texture, colour, and flavour before being stored and shipped at -18°C.
This is not a commodity product. It is a consistent, certified, export-ready frozen food range — built for demanding food service buyers, retail importers, and restaurant chains who require reliable quality across high-volume orders.
From raw potato to export-ready frozen product — every step is controlled, monitored, and certified to deliver consistent quality at scale.
Only Grade-A potatoes with defined size, dry matter content, and low sugar levels are accepted into the production line. Incoming batches are inspected and rejected if they do not meet specification.
Potatoes pass through industrial washing drums and steam/abrasive peeling machines. The peeling process removes skin uniformly without excess wastage, preserving the maximum usable potato mass.
Peeled potatoes are cut to precise dimensions using high-speed water-jet or mechanical cutters — straight cut, crinkle cut, shoestring, wedge, or custom shapes depending on the product specification.
Cut pieces are steam blanched to deactivate enzymes that would otherwise cause discolouration and texture degradation during freezing and storage. Blanching time and temperature are controlled to retain the natural colour and the right partially-cooked structure.
Products such as French fries, nuggets, and patties are par-fried in oil to develop the outer structure and colour that delivers the characteristic golden finish when cooked at the final preparation stage. For EU market products, soybean oil is used. For other markets, palm oil is the standard.
Products enter a continuous blast-freeze tunnel at -40°C. Each piece is frozen individually (IQF — Individually Quick Frozen) rather than as a block — meaning pieces separate cleanly when handled, preventing clumping and allowing portion-controlled use at the buyer's end.
Every production run passes through a calibrated metal detector. Packs are weighed and checked against target weight specifications. Any out-of-specification units are rejected.
Products are packed in polylined corrugated master cartons (standard 10 kg or 20 kg) and moved immediately to cold storage at -18°C awaiting dispatch. Retail pack formats are also available for buyers requiring consumer-ready presentation.
